I work to improve your documents by eliminating grammar problems and inconsistencies. I ensure that your words flow smoothly and that your text speaks to your target audience. I can work within any style guide specific to your needs, including but not limited to the Chicago Manual of Style (CMoS), The Canadian Style, Associated Press Style (AP), and American Psychological Association (APA).


My clients include university professors, researchers, education departments and organizations, professional journalists, government organizations, and novice writers. I have edited Web content, technical journals, theses, press releases, and professional evaluations. My experience spans various fields including education, technology, government policies, cybersecurity, health and lifestyle, business, and nonfiction content.


Web Editing & Writing

Creating content for the Web requires a different approach to that of materials developed for print. Digital content is accessed by various audiences through various types of technology, and I am trained in recognizing the possibilities of the Web and how the audience interacts with it. I integrate my knowledge about keywords and search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure that your blog post, article, and multimedia brand content effectively reaches your target audience.


My experience with web content includes copy editing websites for Canadian government agencies, preparing content for professional educators, and ghostwriting and structural editing of blog posts for professionals in the technology sector. I am the managing editor of both the French-language site of a Canadian health and lifestyle magazine and a blog for editing professionals in British Columbia.


As a French Immersion teacher and with native fluency in French, English, Spanish, and Polish,  I offer translation services to help your content engage a wider audience. If you are seeking to have your content or documents translated from English to French, or vice versa, please contact me to discuss your needs. Do I need to pay upfront?

A deposit of 30% is requested at time of booking.


How soon will I get my document back?
Your document will be returned to you within 4 - 5 days, unless expedited service is arranged.


What kind of document/file types do you accept?

It is preferred that your file is a Word document (.doc or .docx file type), but please contact me otherwise. 


How will I see the edits & comments on my file?

Changes and suggestions are tracked in Markup in MS Word unless you specify another preference.

Will it be possible to discuss your edits?

I am available for communication throughout the editing process as well as afterwards to ensure your satisfaction.
